A fire broke out in a dress warehouse in Ganga Mandir Market located in Mankameshwar Mandir street in Chhatta police station area of ​​Tajnagari Agra on Tuesday afternoon. Five members of the family were trapped on the third floor of the house. There was panic after seeing the smoke rising. Within a short time, flames started rising. Fire fighters arrived on information and brought the fire under control. But by then all the stuff was burnt. After this, five people of the family including three children were taken out of the house.

FSO Somdutt Sonkar of Sanjay Place Fire Station said that information was received at 11 o’clock on Tuesday that a fire broke out in the dress warehouse of Mankameshwar Mandir Gali. Family members are also stranded. He immediately sent two vehicles to the spot. The roads were empty due to voting taking place in the city. Because of this the vehicles did not take much time to reach. But, due to the street being small the vehicle could not go inside.

The firefighters parked the vehicles outside and took the pipes inside. Started extinguishing the fire. During this time, Pawan’s wife Babita, daughter Gauri, who lived on the third floor, and two children Aryan and Aaradhya were shouting from above. Uncle save us. The path to come down was very short. It was full of smoke there. Despite this, the fire brigade personnel showed courage and took everyone out. The fire was brought under control after two hours of hard work.

Police said that Umakant Gupta has a garment warehouse in the name of M/s Atmaram Kalicharan & Sons on the second floor of Ganga Mandir Market. Lord’s clothes and other items were kept in it. A few days ago also there was a fire in a garment warehouse in the street. There is a possibility of fire due to short circuit.

Battery burst after house fire

A house caught fire in Jangjit Nagar of Sadar police station area on Monday night. In which two vehicles and other household items were burnt. After a battery-laden vehicle caught fire, the battery exploded with a bang. Due to this the people nearby got scared. It was fortunate that the family members went out of the house safely.

Praveen Sharma, resident of Jangjit Nagar, is an electrical mechanic. There is a shop in the house itself. He told that the house caught fire due to short circuit at around 12 o’clock in the night. There was a short circuit near the electrical board. There was a petrol scooter and another battery scooter near the board inside the house. Within no time both the vehicles caught fire.

During this time his wife Neetu and son Naitik were sleeping in the room. Woke up to the threat of the battery exploding. After this he ran outside to save his life. Tried to extinguish the fire with the help of neighbors but did not succeed. Everything got burnt. Not even a pair of clothes are left.
